Process steps

    Build the submittal register

    Extract required submittals from specifications and assign responsible trades, reviewers, and target dates.

  2. Step 2

    Prepare the package

    Collect product data, shop drawings, samples, certifications, and deviations in one reviewable package.

  3. Step 3

    Contractor review

    Check completeness, coordination, dimensions, and compliance before sending the submittal to the design team.

  4. Step 4

    Design review

    The architect or engineer reviews for general conformance and returns a status with comments.

  5. Step 5

    Close and distribute

    Resolve revisions, share the final reviewed package, and connect procurement or fabrication to the approved information.
