A drawing log helps prevent teams from building from superseded information.
Recommended fields
| Field | Purpose |

| Drawing number | Creates a stable drawing reference. |
| Drawing title | Describes the content or area covered. |
| Revision | Identifies the current issue or revision state. |
| Issue date | Shows when the drawing became current. |
| Discipline | Groups drawings by architecture, structure, MEP, civil, or other discipline. |
| Distribution status | Shows who received the current drawing set. |
Usage notes
- Keep superseded drawings visible but clearly marked.
- Link RFIs and changes to affected sheets.
- Audit field sets after every major revision.
